We are thrilled to announce the triumphant completion of our latest roofing endeavor for Savoy Cinemas Ltd, undertaken in partnership with Gelder Group as a key component of the West Lindsey District Council’s “Thriving Gainsborough” initiative.
This ambitious project is designed to breathe new life into the historic town center, delivering a substantial uplift to Gainsborough’s cultural heritage and economic prosperity through thoughtful regeneration efforts.
Robinson Roofing Group expertly managed all aspects of the slating and leadwork, collaborating with Lifestiles Ltd | Tiles For Life to employ HaddonBlue natural slates. These carefully selected materials were chosen for their enduring elegance and conservation-appropriate aesthetic, seamlessly blending with the architectural character of the surrounding area while ensuring long-lasting durability and weather resistance.
The meticulous craftsmanship involved in laying the slates and integrating the leadwork highlights a commitment to both tradition and innovation.

Supported by over £10 million in government funding through the Levelling Up Fund, the Savoy Cinema represents a landmark achievement in the Council’s comprehensive regeneration strategy for Gainsborough, symbolising a beacon of progress and community pride.
